The mage Caledor created the Vortex by gradually draining all of the energy from the Stone of Chaos, but their plan was only half realized. After the springs were drained to the bottom, the forces of chaos ceased to replenish themselves in abundance. The former constantly maintained the state of war, while the latter launched an expedition to the Stone that sustained the life of the Gate and the Legion as a whole. If the faction described only fought against the legions, the elves were divided into two opinions.
The Lizardmen faction created mirrored the forces of Chaos Legion as best they could, while the instigators of all history flew into their world.
The former space civilization brought its own changes to this world, the division into factions and the forces of chaos that we fought with in the last game. The action of the main character takes place in the same place as in the first part. We move smoothly into the second part, we start with the same actions, but the plot forces us to follow the linearity, which is not so bad. The events unfold before us in the same first part, where the conquest of the New World becomes the main task of the player. RTS-style real-time strategy is created in the best traditions of developers.
